*Boudoir FAQs*
Check out my list of FAQ’s below for common questions and concerns regarding Boudoir Sessions! These are the most asked questions that I receive and I am constantly adding more to this list as I get more of them! These sessions are so much fun for both myself and YOU!
I’m really nervous. Is that normal?
It is definitely normal to be nervous for your boudoir session, so don’t worry. Most of my clients are nervous until the session has gone on for a few minutes. After it starts, you’ll begin to loosen up. By the end of the session you will feel like a ROCKSTAR!
How do I know how to pose?
Don’t worry about posing. I’ve totally got you covered in that department. I know all the tricks to create the most flattering angles for you, no matter what shape or size you are.

Do your packages include hair and makeup?
I do offer add-ons with hair and makeup by a professional MUA. See our full list of session packages here for pricing.
Am I allowed to bring alcohol to help loosen my nerves?
As long as you’re over 21, that’s totally fine with me.
Do you provide the wardrobe?
I do not have hundreds of pieces for you to choose from, but I do have some bodysuits, accessories, as well as sheets! I will also purchase items that are to be used for your session as well! I strive to make sure this is an awesome experience for you and once that you will LOVE! If you need help choosing an outfit, we can definitely give you some suggestions, though.

I want share these pictures with my partner, but I don’t want loose prints floating around. Any ideas for the best gift?
This is a very common concern and I totally understand. I recommend ordering an album or mobile App. These are much more discreet and will keep all of your images in one place and not floating around. I also offer folios and accordion albums as well. For more information on these products, let me know and I can set up an appointment with to show you my sample products!
What should I bring to my boudoir session?
This is honestly unique per session and package purchased. The minimum I will suggest regardless of package is 3. This is just so we can get a variety of images and poses! I have gals come to their session with a suitcase FULL, and that is awesome! I will also ask that you bring COLORS! Do not limit your attire to just black or white. Everyone looks great in maroon as well as other colors as well! If you need help on picking colors for your skin tone, let me know and I will make some suggestions! Please also bring any props to your session! These can be hats, jerseys, button up shirts, uniforms, jewelry, books, etc. Anything you would like to make this more about you and more personal!

Can I bring a friend?
Of course! If you want to bring someone to touch up your hair/make-up or just to help you gain some confidence that is totally OK! I may ask them to do some behind the scenes photos while they are there!! 🙂
Will my session be with a male or female photographer?
My team is composed of all women!
Do you do touch-ups?
Yes, I will do some skin smoothing edits and basic editing on your photos! I never change who are you and you will still shine threw your photos. If you are wanting more intense edits that are done after the first round, there will be an additional charge as we will set up an appointment to go over these items. we will smooth skin and do some basic retouching on all of your portraits.
I’m not a model – are boudoir photos still flattering even if my body isn’t perfect?
Absolutely! Nobody is perfect and every woman is sexy. If you have any specific concerns, contact me and we can talk about it!
Do you do outdoor boudoir sessions?
Have you seen my portfolio? Of course! These are so different and so unique and offer a different background and emotion to photos! These do have to be planned at least 6 months in advance so I am able to lock down a venue and of course these are dependent on weather!
And of course, I do also offer In-Studio sessions! 😉

Do I have control over who sees my images?
Yes, most certainly. I have 4 different options when it comes to releases. I know this may seem like a lot but I really try to make sure everyone is comfortable and you get just want you want! We go over these options during your pre-consultation and there is never any pressure to share! I will only share photos if you have given me permission and have approved the images for sharing. I respect your wishes and won’t post or share any images if you’d prefer they stay private. This also applies to my make-up and hair team as well!
