My name is Mary Ashton and I am a photographer servicing Arlington, Mansfield, Kennedale, Fort Worth, Dallas, Grand Praire and surrounding areas. I also service the Central Texas area on certain occasions as well. For the past 2 years we lived in Washington state, while my husband was stationed at Ft Lewis. While there we were abl to experience the PNW lifestyle and were able to visit many locations that were truly breathtaking! My family and I are from Texas, and my husband and I have 3 children, 1 dog and a cat.
I specialize in lifestyle family photography. With me being your photographer, I will ask you to get into poses that may seem odd. I LOVE shooting “real” pictures and will ask that you smile, giggle, tickle each other and show some affection. I love capturing little moments that we sometimes miss and wish they were on film. I started doing this as a hobby while making sure I captured my families little moments, and I decided to turn this into a career and capture yours as well!
Prior to photography, I worked in Sales and Advertising for a major Cable company and a local Newspaper back home in Texas. After re-locating to Washington, my family and I decided that I would transition into a stay-at-home mom until I found something I could be passionate about. Then one day while taking photos of a friend, I had so much fun and enjoyment out of checking light, exposure, and posing ideas that I decided to make this hobby my career! I have done many classes and courses in Photography and Photoshop and as every other photographer will tell you, each session I learn something new!
